Barack Obama on McCain, Deregulation, Health Insurance, and Social Security

John McCain, "The Great Deregulator" who with the help of his republican "free market" friends managed to completely destroy the U.S. economy, wants to do the same thing for health insurance:

Opening up the health insurance market to more vigorous nationwide competition, as we have done over the last decade in banking, would provide more choices of innovative products less burdened by the worst excesses of state-based regulation.
Yeah, that's worked out fine so far.  h/t Paul Krugman in the NYT.

Let's not forget that McCain also campaigned for privatization of Social Security - yes, lets hand over everyone's retirement to the greedy cowboys who brought us the mortgage meltdown and collapse of the financial markets.
